After one of the most turbulent years of my life, I thought I'd lost everything. I spent my time succumbed to fear. After some time, this one evening I overcame the fear and went out alone. This is what I wrote the next day.
lyrics
You're not Alone
<Verse 1>
I'm hanging so damn low right now that I don't wanna leave this bed.
But if I could go back to yesterday I would do it all again.
'Cause I have no regrets, It was as good as it gets
Even though I went home alone.
I went out know nobody but I come home on a throne.
<Bridge>
This is a Sign
<Verse 2>
We all get low and lonely sometimes but that's the way it is.
How can we appreciate the calm without feeling a breeze.
This is black and white, its the story of life,
To feel warm we first feel the cold.
But in these hard times when we want it to end this is food for the soul.
<Chorus>
This is a sign,
That you're not alone,
You're never on your own,
I wanna let you know.
Just read the sign,
We're in the same boat,
Trying to stay afloat,
This is all we know
<Solo>
<Chorus>
This is a sign,
That you're not alone,
You're never on your own,
I wanna let you know.
Just read the sign,
We're in the same boat,
Trying to stay afloat,
This is all we know
<Verse 3>
I'm feeling so damn happy right now I'm a different man.
I lost all of my inhibitions, now I'm not scared to stand.
Maybe the people I meet, rubbing of positively have changed my overview on life.
Or this girl that I met briefly last night, haven't got her off my mind.
<Outro>
